Fees

We collect fees for some of our services so we can provide ongoing support to you.

We use a fee system recommended by our funding organisations that depends on your household income.

The fees listed below are just a guide. We will let you know the exact fees by phone or in writing when you are referred or when you begin receiving services.

If your situation changes and you need to adjust your fee level, you can request this. You will still receive services even if you can't pay. If you have any questions or concerns about fees, please talk to our staff.

Dental cancellations

15-20 minute appointments have cancellation fee of $10.00
45 minute appointments have cancellation fee of $15.00
1 hour appointments have cancellation fee of $20.00

Brunswick Community Medical Centre

Fees are payable at the time of consultation. Please ensure you bring your concession and Medicare card to your appointment.

Bulk billing is available weekdays for:

Children under 16 years of age
Pension Card holders
Eligible Australian concession card holders
Healthcare Card holders
Veteran (DVA) Card holders

Non-Medicare Card holders and all weekend appointments will be billed the following private fees:

Social Support Group attendance, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Massage, Meals delivered and other such services (including those provided by Merri Health) can also be arranged, prices for which can be discussed.

Prices quoted are up to the highest amount, based on individual provider rates. For services under 2xhour, a premium rate applies.

Care Management per hour (if extra hours than indicated are required) - $130.30 for all levels.

Care Management is provided by our Care Advisors who will assess your needs, goals and preferences, develop a Care Plan with you and your family or carers to help you achieve your goals which will be reviewed on a regular basis. They will ensure that your care and services are culturally safe, identify and address risks to your safety, health and well-being.

Package management involves the coordination of services (such as scheduling services and workers or arranging respite care), the preparation of invoices and monthly statements, managing your package funds, responding to enquiries about invoices and the purchasing of equipment such as mobility aids; and compliance and quality assurance activities required for Home Care Packages.

Transport

Transport fee per kilometre will be charged at individual brokerage provider rates for mileage associated with travel related to a service that you receive.

Exit amount

There is no charge.

All the above prices are GST exclusive. Prices may be adjusted at any time on reasonable notice to you.
