Fees

We collect fees for some of our services so we can provide ongoing support to you.

We have adopted the fee structure recommended by our funding bodies, which is based on household income level.

The fees listed below are a guide only. You will be informed of the fees, by phone and/or in writing at the time of referral or when you start receiving a service.

You have the right to ask for your fee level to be changed because of your circumstances. You will not be denied services if you are not able to pay. If you have any concerns about fees, speak to our staff.

Fee will be based on the relevant Home and Community Care (HACC) activity provided as part of a package. Refer to the HACC program manual.

If there are no HACC activities, a minimum charge of $10 per week will apply.

  • 15-20 minute appointments have cancellation fee of $10.00

NDIS 

There have been some important changes to the NDIS price guide in response to the COVID 19 pandemic that you need to be aware of.

There has been a 10% price increase from 25 March 2020 for some NDIS services that may affect you. Please see the updated pricing below.

Social support group attendance, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, podiatry, massage, meals delivered and other such services (including those provided by Merri Health) can also be arranged, prices for which can be discussed.

These services are provided by our care advisers who will discuss your current needs and aspirations. A care and services plan is then developed with you to help you to achieve your goals. This service is particularly useful for managing ongoing changes in circumstances and can compliment the support provided by family or friends.

Package management is the ongoing administration and organisational activities associated with ensuring the smooth delivery and management of your Home Care Package. It may include the costs for: preparing monthly statements; managing your package funds; and compliance and quality assurance activities required for Home Care Packages.

Transport

Transport fee per kilometre will be charged for mileage associated with travel related to a service that you receive.

Exit amount

There is no charge.

Handling fees

Where a consumer requests a new provider a once off payment of $300 will be charged to the package to set up the contract. A 9% processing fee applies to the purchase of equipment or non- standard services.

All the above prices are GST exclusive. Prices may be adjusted at any time on reasonable notice to you.
