Carers for Unique Minds is a peer support group for carers supporting a loved one who has a unique way of seeing and experiencing the world. This can include, but is not limited to, the carers of people who are autistic, living with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), an intellectual disability, attention deficit disorder (ADD), Down Syndrome and/or a chromosomal disorder.

Who can attend? Carers of people who are neurodivergent or living with a neurological disorder who are registered with Carer Gateway.

How often does the group run? The group will commence on November 13th and run fortnightly until December 2023 and move to monthly in 2024.
What time does the group run? 8.00pm-9.30pm

Carers for Unique Minds will be run by Bobbi Cook; a First Nations neurodivergent woman who is a carer. Bobbi runs her own behaviour management and counselling service
