Supporting better academic outcomes for students interrupted by COVID-19

Primary school students in Merri-bek are set to benefit from a new Federal Government funded program called School Ties. 

School Ties aims to improve the academic outcomes, health and wellbeing of students from Foundation to Grade 3, whose early primary years have been interrupted by COVID-19.

The program will help us to strengthen our relationship with primary schools and their communities in Merri-bek. 

It will include school-led curriculum interventions, professional development opportunities for school staff, and opportunities for community-led initiatives to connect students and families to service supports and to strengthen their connection with schools.
