Our 2024 Carer Storytelling Competition has begun!

There are $500 worth of prizes to be won.

Merri Health's 2024 Carer Storytelling Competition has been extended to April 5!

We are calling on all of our registered carers to get their creative juices flowing and share their caring stories. Five winners will be announced, with each winner receiving a $100 eGift card.

The competition details are as follows:
Word limit: 200 - 400 words
Format: Any written style of your choice.
Eligibility: One submission per person. Entrants must be carers registered with Merri Health.
Topic: Briefly share your caring journey and what being a carer means to you. We want to see what makes your caring journey unique.
Theme: Every carer's story is different. 
Criteria: Show us your caregiving journey. Share your real-life story as a carer and tell us why the role is important to you. Be honest about the highs and lows of your experience as you reflect on your story.
Deadline: Submissions close on April 5 at 5:00pm. Winners will be announced in the April edition of Carer News.
How to enter: Please email scp@merrihealth.org.au with your submission. 

Many carers love to hear stories from others who share their caregiving experience, which is why we will be choosing some of your stories to use in our upcoming communications and publications. If you would like your story to remain anonymous or under a different name, please specify in your email.
