Healthy eating app for children.

What is it?

Moosh is a web-based app that teaches children 7+, about healthy eating and a balanced diet.

Children can play the game by visiting https://monster-moosh.firebaseapp.com/

Moosh is currently a prototype which means it is at its most basic form – this allows us to learn whether children like Moosh, and if it is helping them learn about healthy food choices.

Technical needs

As Moosh is only a prototype, the game is currently available through Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Microsoft Edge. It is not compatible with Internet Explorer. 

How was it made?

Our team, along with a local school, parents and providers, came together to build the game.

It was tested with grade 3 and 4 students from a local primary school across 3 weeks. The students also helped us with drawings and ideas of what Moosh might look like, and where it lives.
