We're here for carers

Carer Gateway are amazing. Most of the people I’ve spoken to have got lived experience, and it’s really made a difference. Pick up the phone and give them a call. Don’t wait!

Kellie, carer to her parents, daughter and grandson.

Being a carer can be rewarding – and challenging.

You might struggle to balance work, family, or study. Finding time for yourself while caring for a family member, partner or friend with a disability, medical condition, mental illness or who is elderly can be difficult.

Carer Gateway is here to help.

Wherever you are in Victoria, we can support you with counselling, planned or emergency respite, targeted financial support, connecting you with other carers, advice and more.

Carers share their experience with Carer Gateway. Watch the videos below.

Call 1800 422 737, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm or request a call back here and find out how we can help you.
