What is it?
Work with CarerLinks North staff and other carers to plan and improve our services, help us develop and plan carer services including carer events and activities and provide feedback to the Government.
Respite and other support is available to assist you to be involved.
A contribution to the cost of respite may be made, if needed. This will be discussed with the carer before the services start.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can be involved without a referral.
We can also provide this service in a location that suits you or over the phone.
We run events for carers to attend across the northern metropolitan region of Melbourne.

Who are carers?
Carers are family members and friends who look after someone who has problems managing at home or in the community without help. Carers can be parents, partners, spouses, young people, children and friends.
Are there any opportunities for carers to meet other carers?
Yes. We have a number of events during the year that can connect carers to other carers. We also run health and wellbeing events for carers to learn techniques to cope in their caring role.
How will will CarerLinks North help me?
We will listen to what you want and need and try to help you in your caring role. We have many services that you can choose from. It is important to talk to someone about your experiences and how you are coping.

CarerLinks North is part of the Commonwealth Respite and CareLink Centres nationally and is funded by the Australian and Victorian governments.
