Dr. Jyoti Blencowe

Jyoti first started working at Brunswick Community Medical Centre as a GP Registrar in 2012. She returned to Brunswick to complete her training in 2015, and has enjoyed continuing to grow the relationships she has developed with patients and their families since then.

Jyoti is a great listener, enjoys working together with patients to find the best outcomes for them, and finds that the breadth of patients and presentations that GP has to offer makes her work continually enjoyable and stimulating. She has particular interests and expertise in Women’s health, Children’s health and mental health, and feels passionately about working to improve the health and wellbeing of Indigenous Australians and other marginalised populations.

When not at work, Jyoti currently spends the majority of her time juggling 2 small children, a new dog, chickens, vegetables and all of the associated beauty and chaos.
