Consumers participate in road safety inquiry

Clients from our Social Support Program participated in the Victorian Parliamentary Road Safety Inquiry in August.

The Inquiry, held by the Parliament’s Legislative Assembly Economy & Infrastructure Committee, provided an opportunity to understand more about how road safety behaviours have changed since COVID-19, and the impacts on vulnerable road users.

We supported four clients to share their valuable experiences and opinions about travelling in Merri-bek.

Anthony Cianflone, local MP said, “Thank you Merri Health for appearing – your older clients and local residents provided some very helpful feedback that will certainly help inform the committee’s work.”
