The Great Idea Program

Supporting community-led initiatives in Merri-bek’s northern suburbs.

Through this model, project teams are provided with small grants as well as guidance and mentorship to bring their “Great Idea” to life.

Rather than a traditional ‘service delivery’ model, the projects are community-led, thereby ensuring the projects have relevant and lasting impacts at the local level, whilst simultaneously empowering local residents.

Applications for the 2023 round of The Great Idea Program are currently closed.
