Student placements are important to our team.

Merri Health are committed to providing a high-quality student experience that enables students to experience the reality of working in community health.  Student Placements at Merri Health occur in various programs across all sites.

Interested in completing your placement at Merri Health?

Merri Health has agreements in place with various Tertiary Institutions who provide us with students. If you are interested in doing student placement at Merri Health, please contact the Field Education Coordinator/Placement Officer at your respective institution. Applications from University partners should come through PlaceRight.

Due to the complex nature of our work, Merri Health will only take students from Tertiary Institutions we have formal partnerships with.

Work Experience

Merri Health is committed to supporting career interests in community health and providing opportunities for secondary school students to undertake work experience in compliance with the regulations set out by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.

If you are a secondary school student, complete the Expression of Interest form and send to HR@merrihealth.org.au along with any supporting documents such as resume or cover letter.
